NOTE about A First Grader’s Book Reviews

Miriya finished her research report and her presentation on Seahorses last week.  However, I just found out she has one more report coming up – her last big project at school before the school year ends.  Therefore, I regret to say, her book reviews will be on hold once more.  I will continue to update her reading log, so please feel free to ask or comment about any books and my daughter would be more than happy to respond!  Since her last review, she’s started on The Secrets of Droon and Magic Tree House series.  Miriya has also completed the Perfectly Princess collection.  Thanks to everyone for your continued support 🙂

Miriya is very inspiring – I hope my daughter will read a ton of books just like her when she’s older!

Do Miriya and Kyle have any book recommendation for preschoolers?

Miriya and Kyle love the Big and Busy collection by Priddy Books! Big, interactive, colorful and informative 🙂

Thank you Vida for letting us know! I am looking forward to hearing about her projects. Also if she can recommend any boy books for a 10 yr old I would really really appreciate it! He doesn’t seem to like my book suggestions 😦

Hmm, 10 year old is tough as that may be a little higher level than her. But Miriya did say she loves her Secrets of Droon series and boys may like that, too 🙂 Let me know if that’s something your son might enjoy!
