Car stunts at home, thanks to Thinkway Toys

A hot new toy that made it to Time to Play’s 2011 Holiday Most Wanted list is the Lazer Stunt Chaser by Thinkway Toys.  This truly is an awesome toy that will be hit for any kid this holiday season.  If you want to be that parent, aunt/uncle, friend, etc. to win the title of “I gave the coolest gift this year”, this toy may be worth considering.  The Lazer Stunt Chaser features:

  • Easy to use light-controlled steering
  • Variable speed control with turbo mode
  • Bright color changing light-up rims
  • 2-sided car for flip and go continuous action
  • In optimal settings, can go up to 300 mph

The DragonFire package (seen in photo above) comes with the Lazer Stunt Chaser car, remote control, built-in rechargeable battery, charger and a 4-in-1 ramp to create your own stunt action at home with exciting flips and high jumps.  Thinkway Toys also offers Cyclone Force, Doom’s Gate and Double Roll Turbo Jump, adding more variety to your home stunt action.  The charger requires 6 AA and the remote requires 2 AA batteries (not included).  The Lazer Stunt Chaser is recommended for children ages 4 and up.  However, younger kids would probably love it just as much – there just won’t be as much control over the car (just ask my 2 year old who constantly asks me, “Mommy, where did the car go?”)  I really like this toy over certain other remote-controlled vehicle toys because it’s a little easier for the younger kids to play – you just point and the car will go wherever the light goes.  Kids don’t have to worry about the separate controls for forward, backward, left, right, etc.  The Lazer Stunt Chaser retails for around $39.99 and up (depending on the playset) and can be found in various retailers (including Target, Kmart, Toys R Us).
