Product Feature: Hasbro’s Furreal Friends Dizzy Dancers

Ever since my two boys (3 yrs and 5 yrs) were introduced to Beyblade by my friends’ sons (ages 9 and 12), they became instantly addicted.  We don’t have many toys that my kids will play with…over and over…and over and over again.  You know how it is, most kids will play with something for a short duration and then it’ll sit in the corner for weeks.

For a recent punishment sentence (and this is punishment of the worst kind!), I’ve taken away their Beyblades.  Funny thing is it hasn’t stopped them from playing.  They’ll motion the “let it rip!” in the air and pretend battle with each other (I told you they were “addicted”!)  The boys were having so much that my daughter had to join in on the fun.  She’d battle and pretend play right with them, but you can tell that she wasn’t as into it as the boys were, as if she was missing out.

So how did I rectify the situation?  With Hasbro’s Dizzy Dancers!  Through Hasbro’s Furreal Friends brand, Hasbro introduced the Dizzy Dancers which puts an exciting spin on fantasy pet play.  I thought this was a wonderful way to involve the children who aren’t into battling but still enjoy the spinning fun.   They’re cute and have a much softer look and feel to a spinning toy (versus a toy like Beyblade) – something many children can appreciate (especially girls!)  One of my daughter’s BFF describes it as “they’re cute, cuddly, dazzling and have a silly hairdo!”

To play, you just insert the dizzy cord and pull!  You watch as they spin and twirl – a fun twist to the old fashion tops that my generation is more familiar with!
